A successful trip- August 2026

Michael and Anna’s visit to Zambia this August had a very clear focus: getting our own organisation working better.

We have invested heavily over the years in our libraries, computer facilities, books and equipment. This time, instead of adding more programmes, we worked with our team on getting the very best from what is already there.

With 15 staff now in place, we spent time improving project management, project planning and time management.

Each member of the team is now taking responsibility for a new activity — from homework clubs and reading sessions to a chess club, story-time, an adult literacy course and expanded computer use.

It was encouraging to see how positively the team has innovated.

A productive visit — and an important step forward for Inspire Zambia.
