Container Libraries in George and Chipulukusu re-opened.

We are delighted that after a year of being closed the container libraries in George Community and Chipulukusu community have been re-opened and the welcome from the children in these communities has been phenominal.

The container libraries were closed due to the demand on the staff at the Sr Grace Library headquarters, between sorting the books that were delivered to Zambia and cataloguing them, the opening of the library to the public and the opening of the computer lab.

In July 2025, four more librarians were hired and trained up and the container libraries themselves got a lick of paint and rebranded for the re-opening at the beginning of October 2025.
