Dual Asset Management

In 2024, we had planned to bring a team of volunteers to Zambia to (among other things) conduct lessons in computers and IT for Zambian teachers. These computer lessons are a critical piece of the plan for spreading literacy, including computer literacy, in Zambia. Once the teachers have learnt how to use a computer, they can, in turn, teach their pupils and thereby spread computer skills throughout the community.

On learning that we were still short of laptops in June 2024, Dual Asset Management stepped in with a spontaneous donation of five high-quality laptops. Those laptops were brought out to Zambia by our volunteers and, after use in the Computer and IT lessons for teachers in August 2024, they are still in everyday use in our schools and libraries today. These laptops will provide a cost-effective computer experience for our Zambian friends for years.
